CLAIR

The Centre for Library and Information Resources (CLAIR) serves as the academic hub of our institution, supporting teaching, learning, and research activities. Designed as a modern knowledge centre, CLAIR provides students and faculty with access to diverse print and digital resources in an environment conducive to continuous learning.

Book Borrowal Procedure

  • Books (except reference books) can be borrowed using Borrower's Cards.
  • Borrowed books should be returned within two weeks.
  • Cards are non-transferable.
  • Overdue fine: Rs. 1 per day.
  • Lost or damaged books must be replaced or compensated.
  • Journals cannot be borrowed.
  • Absolute silence must be maintained inside the library.
Timings
  • Lunch Break: 12.35 p.m. – 1.10 p.m.
  • Evening: 4.15 p.m. – 5.15 p.m.

Students and faculty can access the AGPC digital library using the D-Space platform.

Established in academic year 2025–2026, the Reader’s Club promotes intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning through student activities beyond classrooms.

National Librarian Day

Celebrated every year on 12th August with competitions and events. Winners receive books and certificates to encourage reading habits.

Best User Award

Presented annually during Annual Day celebrations to students who actively use library resources. Awardees receive prizes and certificates.
