Admission
Admissions at Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College (AGPC) are conducted in a transparent, student-friendly, and merit-based manner. The institution follows the norms and regulations prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Government of Tamil Nadu.
The admission process is designed to provide equal opportunity to all eligible candidates seeking diploma education in the various engineering disciplines offered by the college.
Courses Offered for Admission
Students can apply for Full-Time Diploma Courses in the following disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Printing Technology
- Basic Engineering (First-year common)
Eligibility Criteria
Regular (First-Year) Admission
- Passed SSLC / 10th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board
- Mathematics and Science must have been studied as subjects
- Minimum pass percentage as prescribed by DOTE must be met
Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year)
- Completed HSC (Academic or Vocational) with relevant subjects
- OR completed ITI (2 years) in the relevant trade
- Eligible for direct admission into the second year of the diploma programme

Obtain the Application Form
Available at the college office or through request via phone/email.
Fill the Form Carefully
Provide accurate personal details, academic records, and course preference.
Submit the Application
Submit in person or through authorized representatives.
Verification of Documents
College admission cell will verify all certificates.
Payment of Fees
On confirmation of admission, students must pay the prescribed tuition fees.
Admission Confirmation
Admission is confirmed only after payment of fees and approval from DOTE.
Fee Structure
- Tuition fee, special fee, and other charges are collected as per DOTE norms
- Fees for each academic year will be notified at the time of admission
- No capitation fee or hidden charges are collected
Scholarships & Fee Concessions
